5•12汶川特大地震纪念馆是伟大抗震救灾精神的发源地、承载地、弘扬地，是国家一级博物馆，先后被授予全国爱国主义教育示范基地、海峡两岸交流基地、国家防震减灾科普教育基地、全国首批中小学生研学实践教育基地、全国首批大思政教育基地、全国科普教育基地、全国社会科学普及教育基地、全国红色旅游经典景区等多项荣誉；同时与多家科研院校共建科研和教学基地，已成为对外展示中国发展道路、发展模式、讲述中国故事的重要窗口，培育和践行社会主义核心价值观的重要载体，开展地震科普研究和防灾减灾教育的重要基地。


5•12馆包括“三遗址•两馆•一中心”，即北川⽼县城地震遗址、沙坝地震断层遗址、唐家山堰塞湖地震遗迹、主馆、副馆和防灾减灾宣传教育中⼼。同时按照四川省灾后重建规划，作为“⼀馆三地”的龙头部⻔，牵头统揽汶川映秀震中地震遗址纪念地、绵⽵汉旺东汽⼯业地震遗址纪念地和都江堰虹⼝深溪沟地震遗迹纪念地三地作⽤功能的发挥。


The 5•12 Wenchuan Earthquake Memorial Hall is the birthplace, carrier, and promoter of the great spirit of earthquake relief. It is a national first-level museum that has been awarded numerous honors, including the National Patriotic Education Demonstration Base, Cross-Strait Exchange Base, National Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction Science Education Base, the first batch of research and practical education bases for primary and secondary school students, the first batch of national ideological and political education bases, national science popularization education base, and national red tourism classic scenic spots; meanwhile, it has established research and teaching bases with multiple scientific research institutions and universities, becoming an important window to showcase China's development path and model, narrate Chinese stories, cultivate and practice socialist core values, and conduct earthquake science popularization research and disaster prevention and reduction education.


The 5•12 Memorial Hall comprises "Three Sites, Two Halls, and One Center," referring to the earthquake site of Beichuan Old County Town, Shaba Earthquake Fault Site, Tangjiashan Barrier Lake Earthquake Relic, the Main Hall, the Sub-Hall, and the Disaster Prevention and Reduction Publicity and Education Center. At the same time, according to the post-disaster reconstruction plan of Sichuan Province, as the leading department of "One Hall and Three Sites," it takes the lead in overseeing the functions of the Wenchuan Yingxiu Epicenter Earthquake Memorial Site, Mianzhu Hanwang Dongqi Industrial Earthquake Memorial Site, and Dujiangyan Hongkou Shenxigou Earthquake Relic Memorial Site.


主馆

《山川永纪-5•12汶川特大地震纪念馆基本陈列》，真实记录了2008年5月12日到2011年9月30日期间抗震救灾和灾后重建伟大历程，集中呈现5•12汶川特大地震的巨大灾难，生动再现波澜壮阔的抗震救灾斗争，全面展现灾后恢复重建取得的重大胜利，充分展示和弘扬“万众一心、众志成城，不畏艰险、百折不挠，以人为本、尊重科学”的伟大抗震救灾精神。

Main Hall

The basic exhibition "Mountains and Rivers Forever Remember - 5•12 Wenchuan Earthquake Memorial Hall" truly records the great process of earthquake relief and post-disaster reconstruction from May 12, 2008, to September 30, 2011. It focuses on presenting the immense disaster of the 5•12 Wenchuan Earthquake, vividly reproducing the magnificent struggle against the earthquake, comprehensively displaying the significant achievements of post-disaster recovery and reconstruction, and fully demonstrating and promoting the great spirit of earthquake relief, which is "unity of all people, resilience, bravery in the face of difficulties, perseverance, people-oriented, and respect for science."


副馆

副馆以地震科普为主题，与主馆互为补充，重在向人们普及地震知识，展现“感受地震、传播知识、关爱生命”的主题。

Sub-Hall

The Sub-Hall focuses on earthquake science popularization, complementing the Main Hall. It aims to popularize earthquake knowledge and showcase the theme of "experiencing earthquakes, disseminating knowledge, and caring for life."



北川老县城地震遗址

北川老县城地震遗址是5•12汶川特大地震地震形成的遗址中最具代表性、也是截止目前全世界整体原址原貌保护的规模最大、破坏类型最全面、次生灾害最典型的地震遗址区，总保护面积1.2平方公里，其中核心保护面积0.79平方公里。

Beichuan Old County Earthquake Site

The Beichuan Old County earthquake site is the most representative of the sites formed by the 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake, and it is also the largest scale, most comprehensive type of damage, and most typical secondary disaster earthquake site area in the world in terms of overall original site protection. Its overall protection area is 1.2 square kilometers, with a core protection area of 0.79 square kilometers.

 

沙坝地震断层遗址

沙坝地震断层遗址距离北川老县城地震遗址1公里处，处在龙门山主中央断裂带，垂直位移10.5米，面积0.37平方公里，是截止目前全世界瞬间垂直位移最大的断层，具有重要的科学研究和展示利用价值。

Shaba earthquake fault site

The Shaba earthquake fault site is 1 kilometer away from the Beichuan Old County earthquake site, located in the center of the Longmen Mountain main fault zone, with a vertical displacement of 10.5 meters and an area of 0.37 square kilometers. It is currently the fault with the largest instantaneous vertical displacement in the world, and has very important scientific research value and display and utilization value.

 

唐家山堰塞湖遗迹

唐家山堰塞湖遗迹距北川老县城地震遗址约5公里，是5.12汶川特大地震中形成的库容量最大的一个堰塞湖，也是截止目前全世界成功处置的库容量最大的堰塞湖。湖区控制流域面积3538平方公里，最高蓄水位曾达743米，泄洪前蓄水量达3.2亿立方米，于2008年6月10日成功处置。

Tangjiashan Barrier Lake Ruins

The remains of Tangjiashan barrier lake are about 5 kilometers away from the earthquake site in the old county of Beichuan. It is the largest barrier lake with the largest storage capacity formed during the 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake and also the largest successfully disposed of barrier lake in the world so far. The controlled watershed area of the lake area reaches 3538 square kilometers, with a maximum water storage level of 743 meters and a storage capacity of 320 million cubic meters before flood discharge. It was successfully disposed of on June 10, 2008.

为充分发挥5•12汶川特⼤地震纪念馆功能作⽤，附近配套建设防灾减灾宣传教育中⼼和防灾减灾实训基地，可开展教育实践活动。

映秀震中纪念馆

“5.12”汶川特大地震映秀震中纪念馆位于映秀镇渔子溪村，占地面积8800平方米，建筑面积4800平方米。分为序厅、特大地震破坏惨烈展区、众志成城抗震救灾展区、自立更生科学重建展区、科学应对防震减灾展区五个展厅。

Yingxiu Earthquake Epicenter Memorial Hall

The Yingxiu epicenter memorial hall of the 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake is located in Yuzixi Village, Yingxiu Town, covering an area of 8800 square meters and a building area of 4800 square meters. It is divided into five exhibition halls: the preface hall, the exhibition area of the devastating earthquake damage, the exhibition area of the united city earthquake relief, the exhibition area of self-reliance and scientific reconstruction, and the exhibition area of scientific response to earthquake prevention and disaster reduction.


绵竹汉旺地震遗址公园

汉旺地震遗址公园总面积为1.72平方公里，包括遗址保护区（东汽厂区、东汽家属区、汉旺老城区）、纪念区（绵竹市抗震救灾•灾后重建纪念馆、纪念广场）、科普区（科普馆）等区域。

Mianzhu Hanwang Earthquake Site Park

The total area of Hanwang Earthquake Site Park is 1.72 square kilometers, including the site protection area (Dongqi factory area, Dongqi family area, Hanwang old urban area), memorial area (Mianzhu earthquake relief and post disaster reconstruction memorial hall, memorial square), science popularization area (science popularization hall).


都江堰虹口深溪沟地震遗址纪念地

都江堰市虹口深溪沟地震遗迹纪念地位于龙溪--虹口国家级自然保护区内，侧重保护和展示虹口深溪沟“5.12”汶川特大地震所形成的大规模地表断裂、地震断层现象，为地震灾害的防灾减灾提供实地的考察试验场所，为地球物理、地质科学、建筑工程等领域提供珍贵的科研价值。

Dujiangyan Irrigation Project Hongkou Shenxigou Earthquake Site Memorial

Dujiangyan Irrigation Project Hongkou Shenxigou Earthquake Relics Memorial Site is located in the Longxi Hongkou National Nature Reserve. It focuses on protecting and displaying the large-scale surface fractures and seismic faults formed in the "5.12" Wenchuan Earthquake, providing a site for field investigation and test for earthquake disaster prevention and mitigation, and providing precious scientific research value for geophysics, geological science, construction engineering and other fields.
